During his first state visit to Moscow, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that he vowed to ‘redefine’ ties with Russia, which has been hosting ousted Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad for the last 10 months.
